Recently, it was brought to my attention that there were a handful of folks actually reading my blog. So, it makes me feel a little guilty that I've been neglecting it. Approximately six months ago I wrote on my way up to spectate Lake Placid. Since then, I've completed the GORUCK 24 hour challenge on 9/11, learned to do pushups (huge for me), and ran a few road races. As we round the corner into 2012, I'm signed up for a couple things:
Miami Marathon (JAN) - Slightly terrifying since I haven't been running and its approximately one month away.
ESBRU (FEB) - Slightly confusing since they changed the time and format of the race this year.
Boston Marathon (APR) - Forgot about this one...
Big Sur Marathon (APR) - Too far away to consider it anything but a Spring vacation.
Mooseman Half Iron (JUN) - This is easily my favorite race.
Ironman NYC (AUG) - aka Ironman NJ. I have mixed feelings on this race. I'm sort of wishing I had signed up for IMLP instead. However, maybe I'll feel differently after its done. If we get some warm weather, I'll be happy.
Computrainer class starts in January. I am excited and hoping to find the winner trainer (the one that isn't working and allows you to win with no effort at all). Otherwise, as usual, I'm prepared to be clobbered by my friends.
For my New Years Resolutions I will attempt another running streak and 6 pack abs again. In true resolution fashion, I failed on both counts in 2011.
Finally, I will do my best to update the blog more often. More soon...
