Last night, our Nike RUNNYC workout had a special guest - Lance Armstrong. He was in NY to commemorate 10/2 - the date of his cancer diagnosis in 1996, to promote his new clothing line with Nike (with 100% of the proceeds going to the Foundation), and to confirm that he is running the NY Marathon again this year. City Coachers in attendance included Killer, Jeannine, Luis & Yvonne, Mordy, Nate, Chris, Gary, Geoff and Danny. We did a "Pied Piper Run", departing from Niketown, running through Central Park, picking up a group of runners at NY Running Company and another from the Runners' Station and then headed over to 230 Fifth for a rooftop party.
Lance and I debated over which one of us has an accent, but otherwise it was a lot of fun to run with him. The photo gallery is up to about 50 shots, and I'll keep adding more as they come in.
