We had a small but formidable group at today's Fifth Avenue Mile. Francis Laros - or "The Curveblowing Bastard Who Makes Guys Like Me Look Bad" as I like to call him - ran 4:36, which was good for 2nd place (by one lousy second) in the 45-49 age group. Matt Duelka ran his first mile since college and finished in 4:43, which was good for 9th in his AG.
Other notable performances included our friends Sid Howard (6:00 at age 72), Yumi Ogita (5:18 at age 50), Kelly Chin (5:15), each of whom was an age group winner.
Congratulations all around.
