Three or so hours is way too long to have your brain all to yourself, and I apparently fizzled my brain in the process, because I actually for a minute or so thought it might be a good idea to post about yesterday's long run. But nobody cares. Seriously. Nobody. Not even me. Here's the four word summary: Probably we're all good.
So instead I'll share this with you, against all my better judgement because god knows the last thing we need is a rush on the stuff:
Montana Huckleberry Hammer Gel. Seriously. You could spread that stuff on toast and my Swedish huckleberry-jam making grandmother, rest her tiny 4 foot 10 inch soul, would not know the difference. Yum.
Hammer rocks. I've used Hammer's raspberry gel in a pinch (no jam in the cupboard) with peanut butter (and it's the only gel that goes down ok for me during training/races). Will have to try the Huckleberry. Good luck with your training and the marathon, Johanna (hot mama).

JB--
I have found that solitary mind time useful for a couple of things. 1. Writing stories 2. Re-creating music in my mind i.e. can I replay the entire first movement of the Mozart G minor Symphony in my mind without omitting a measure?(and of course without an Ipod)
